What is the return policy?

We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell with a free and easy return and a full refund – and you won’t even need a receipt*

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase! However, if you need help or need to return an item, we’re here for you!

If an item you have purchased from us is not working as expected within the return period, please e-mail our team for free help, where they can solve your problem or even exchange the item for a product that better suits your needs.

If you need to return or exchange an item, simply e-mail us for a full refund or exchange before product activation/installation. Most products may be returned within 30 days.

*In accordance with our return policy, and if you have provided us with valid contact information. 

Return or exchange time frames

Eligible return or exchange time frames are from the date of purchase:

15 calendar days for all software related products.

*For items purchased as part of a bundle, these items can not be returned individually.

Products not eligible for return *

  • Opened software
  • Electronic software downloads
  • Point of Sale Activation Cards that have a dollar value
  • Micro Center Gift Cards (except as required by law)
  • Products with customer-induced damage such as, but not limited to, aerial drones with damage due to pilot error. So let’s be careful out there!
  • Microphones and microphone accessories *
  • Trading Card Games

* Hardware items deemed defective are eligible for exchange

Refunds

All refunds will be based on your original payment method or a Micro Center Gift Card

  • If a credit card was used as payment, the credit card must be present at the time of return. Credit card refunds may take up to 5 business days to process the refund.
  • If a debit card was used as payment, that debit card will need to be present at the time of the return.
  • Check refunds may take up to 14 business days
  • We offer gift receipts to customers when purchasing gifts. When returning a gift, you’ll receive your refund on a Micro Center Gift Card.

Other important details

  • Micro Center is not responsible for expenses, fees, or additional costs incurred as a result of defective or incompatible products
